My name is Jacob, and I’m 14 years old. I’ve been playing baseball since I was 5, every season possible. Baseball is a big part of my life. I’m proud of everything I’ve done in baseball so far. My Baseball Journey I recently moved back to Ortonville, Michigan, after living in Florida for a few years. While I was in Florida, I played for an organization called CBU. It was a great experience that helped me grow as a player and love the game even more. Recent Special Events: Individual player invite to play in the USSSA All American Games (2024) Individual player invite to play in the Game Day USA All American Games (2024) Invite to attend IMG Academy for the 2024/2025 school year 14U Nationals Team: I got to travel with this team to tournaments in Louisiana, Texas, and Florida a few months during 2024. It was an amazing experience! Joined my new team: 14U Team Elite Premiere for the 2025 season Training and Coaching In Florida, I trained with amazing coaches who used to play in the minor leagues before injuries ended their careers. They taught me a lot about hitting and batting mechanics. I also gained a lot of knowledge on infield and pitching. Now that I’m back in Michigan, I’m training with a local Jimmy John’s player who keeps me sharp and pushes me to be my best. 2024 Big Achievements Home Run Derby Champion: I won the Home Run Derby at the All-American Games in November 2024 in Ft. Myers, Florida. Batting Average: My current batting average is .600, which shows all the hard work I’ve put into my hitting. Positions Shortstop: This is my main position. I love making big plays and leading the infield. Pitcher: When I pitch, I focus on being accurate and staying calm under pressure. Batting: I’ve always managed to bat 3rd or 4th in the lineup.
